Bangor Students Get Set For Galician Summer School

Three Modern Languages students are heading off to Santiago de Compostela., having won a €400 bursary for a Galician Language Summer School placement in July.

Dougal Wise, 21, a third year Sports Science and Modern Languages student, and Elina Shchohla, 19, a first year Music and Modern Language student, pictured, are two of three Bangor students who will be spending their time learning Galician and participating in organised trips and cultural activities with fellow students. Dougal and Elina are looking forward to developing their language skills and discovering the region – particularly Elina, who has never been to Spain before.
