This time next week I'll be off to the amazing Knit and Stitch Show in London for four days of teaching sewing workshops! Will be covering lots of my favourite textile topics, from dressmaking techniques such as finishing raw edges, inserting zips and different types of seam, to more specialised hand sewing including the beautiful Korean pojagi (bojagi).

If you can't make London, we are so lucky to now have our own local Knit and Stitch Show at the Eikon Centre 12th to 15th November, followed by Harrogate 19th to 22nd November. Which one will you treat yourself to?! 🥰

Meet up with like-minded crafters, shop for your annual supplies, and learn new skills - all under one roof from 8th - 11th October 2026.

We rounded off September's sewing lessons with another amazing day of sewing and perfect pumpkin bags!

As always, big thanks for coming along, and for the happy faces at the end - rightly very proud of your beautiful creations 🎃🧡🎃🧡🎃🧡 A special thanks for travelling from as far afield as Ballymena - really do appreciate it, and hopefully will get lessons sorted up there too!

It's Sustainable Fashion Week and we're having a destash!! Come along on Saturday and grab yourself a textile treasure.

We'll have lots of preloved garments, fabulous fabrics and yarns, haberdashery, ribbons and trims. Bangor's own Vinted!

Quick update! Big thanks to everyone who has already booked a class. The Intro to Alterations Class on the 18th October at 2pm has now sold out. I've added in a further alterations class, same day, at 10:30am - hopefully that suits those of you who are still interested.

For the alterations class we will cover a variety of hemming techniques - hand and machine sewn, alongside dressmaking fitting methods. If you have a garment you would like to alter, please do bring it along on the day, it's always a great way to learn.

Out for dinner in Seoul Food Belfast and what is hanging on the wall!! Beautiful hand sewn Jogakbo (patchwork) panels in the Korean colours of harmony. 💕
