We have some very sad news that one of our hay barns caught fire yesterday, there were no injuries to any animals or people. We don’t know how this fire started at present but if anyone has information please contact us, the fire service or the police. This fire has destroyed a whole years worth of hay, this is feed for the majority of the animals on the farm so it’s a huge hit to us. The barn is beyond repair, unsafe and will be demolished when possible. The muck heap and remains of the building will smoulder for the next few days and we are monitoring closely, if you notice anything of concern please dial 999. Please do not enter the area at any time, if you do see anyone in or around the yard/building remains then please report this immediately.
