📣 Sharing on behalf of Distraction Community

Distraction Community Youth Project is hoping to start a friendly and supportive group for parents and guardians of young people in Year 7 and above who may be struggling with school or finding it difficult to engage with education.

The group will provide a welcoming space to talk, listen, share experiences and ideas, and explore practical ways to support both parents/guardians and their young people.

If you know someone who might benefit from this group, please share this post or help spread the word. 💛

📢 Important information for students and parents/carers

A reminder that Thursday is TSP Day for students and parents/carers. You should now have your appointment booked, and we look forward to welcoming you.

👔 Full school uniform is required for all students attending TSP Day.

For our new Year 7 students, TSP Day is also an opportunity to get everything set up ready for school. You will receive your school login, email address and password, and, where permission has been granted, have your thumbprint set up for purchasing food in the canteen.

💙 Then on Friday, we can’t wait to welcome everyone back!

All students return for the normal school day:

🕗 8.40am – 3.15pm
👔 Full school uniform is required

We’re really looking forward to seeing everyone and starting the new school year together.

We’re getting closer to the start of the new academic year, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone back!

A letter containing important information about the start of the new school year has been emailed to all parents and carers. Please do take a moment to check your inbox and ensure you have read the information provided.
