We are delighted to announce that Cherry Fields, have achieved the School Games Silver level Mark Award for the 2025/26 academic year. A huge well done to all pupils that took part in the events throughout the year. Lets see what 2026-2027 brings! 🤞👏

Our Year 4's have just enjoyed an eventful couple of days at Hill End, taking part in activities such as pond skimming, den building, making smores and team building tasks.

We welcomed Libby from Cherwell District Council into school this week, to discuss healthy eating habits with our pupils.

In early years and KS1 she spoke to the children about the different food groups and the importance of eating a rainbow of foods.

In KS2 she focused more on the hidden sugar content in foods and the importance of these foods and drinks being 'sometimes' foods rather than everyday foods.

She then talked to everyone about oral hygiene and making sure we brush our teeth and go to the dentist for check ups.

This week our Choir and Eco clubs both made it to the finals in the GLF Foundation "Boundless Festival" . We were incredibly proud of how hard our pupils worked and the children thoroughly enjoyed the day. There was also an amazing array of talent on display from our sister schools. '

A huge thank you to the team at Amazon who have very kindly donated snack packs for our pupils. These will be fantastic for our upcoming residential and school trips. Very much appreciated 👏

Our Year 2 class recently visited the Butterfly Farm in Stratford Upon Avon. We learned about habitats and life cycles, including how animals and plants depend on each other for food and shelter. We then enjoyed some field work in Stratford itself.
