Today marks an important day as we share the results for EA Pre-School places with all our families. 🐞🐞
We look forward to welcoming you to Ladybird Lane Pre School for the 2026–2027 academic year and to providing an enriching and engaging educational experience for your child.
Due to an exceptionally high volume of applications, we understand that not all families were allocated a funded place. A limited number of private pre-school places remain available, delivered by our fully qualified staff in line with the Northern Ireland Curriculum.
We also accept Tax-Free Childcare and the Subsidy Scheme for these Pre school places.

At Ladybird Lane, we are thrilled to share that we have two Pre-School locations—one in the grounds of Bridge Primary School and another at 55 Castlewellan Road Banbridge! Together, we provide 38 Pre-School places, with a small selection of private Pre School/ Pre Pre places available at a special private morning rate.We can’t wait for you to meet our wonderful team of qualified early years educators and qualified NIFSA Forest school staff. Our Pre-School setting follows the Northern Ireland Pre-School curriculum and is regularly inspected by the Education Authority, Social Services, and Early Years professionals. Applications close at 12 noon on 21 January 2026. It is important to note that applications are not considered on a first come, first served basis.
