📢 HAVE YOUR SAY | Northern Ireland Curriculum 2028

A public consultation on the new Northern Ireland Curriculum is open.

The proposed curriculum sets out clearly what children and young people should learn and when they should learn it, from Foundation Stage to Key Stage 3. It establishes a common and ambitious entitlement, ensuring knowledge and understanding build progressively over time.

Bye bye school, hello pool! Kids can get active in our swimming pools at South Lake, Orchard and Banbridge Leisure Centres with a one hour swim session for only £2.

ℹ This offer runs from Monday to Friday, 1 July – 31 Aug, 11am – 5pm. Applies to ages 17 years & under. Children under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 4 years and under swim free. Subject to centre normal opening times.

P4D pupils successfully grew spinach and lettuce in the school garden by preparing the soil, sowing seeds, watering regularly, and caring for the plants until they were ready to eat.
