🍭Weaning Wednesday - Lollipops 🍭

Do you know the risk with lollipops? ⚠️

Packs of multiple lollipops will have a clear warning:

“Not suitable for under 36 months” but this can be missed on single lollipops. ⛔️

Why are they dangerous?

Some lollipops will come off the stick easier than others and can then easily be sucked into the airway. 🫁

Our advice is to stay clear of these suckers for as long as you possibly can! The advice is over 3 years old.

Be ready for those times that your little one may be offered a lollipop from another adult!

For example, at the end of a meal at a restaurant, or a hair cut!

Have a safer option at the ready in your bag if possible. 👜
