🎉Outstanding Post-16 Results at St. Patrick’s College, Banbridge! 🎉

We are thrilled to celebrate another year of exceptional success, with our Year 14 Class of 2026 achieving a 100% A-Level pass rate, with every student securing success in at least three A-Levels!

Our Year 13 students have also made history, achieving the best AS-Level results ever recorded at the College, providing a fantastic foundation for their final year of study.

These outstanding achievements reflect the hard work, resilience and determination of our pupils, alongside the unwavering support of parents, guardians, teachers and support staff.

Congratulations to all our Year 13 and Year 14 students as they take the next steps in their educational and career journeys.

Huge congratulations to Sarah Conway, Noah McEvoy, and Dylan Bell on returning from the USA after completing the Friends Forever International ‘Immersive Youth Program 2026’! ✈️🇺🇸

This fantastic initiative develops bold, empathetic leaders aged 15–18 from across the island of Ireland. Their journey combined weekly virtual sessions, an April residential at the FFI Centre in Annalong, and a two-week trip to the global headquarters in New Hampshire.

Throughout the program, they focused on building key skills around resilience, empathy, communication, impact, playfulness, and effort. Sarah, Noah, and Dylan are now back home and ready to put their learning into practice with their local community action projects. Watch this space! 🌟👏

Best of luck to our past pupil, William John McCartan, who will be competing in the 2026 Commonwealth Games Boxing program in Glasgow over the coming days. We have no doubt you will give it your all 🥊

GILFORD Boxing Club star Willie John McCartan headed off to the Commonwealth Games this week with one aim – to bring home a gold medal. The 28-year-old ‘Drumnascamph Destroyer’ received a rousing send-off when he visited the club for the last time before heading to Scotland. The Irish champ has come a long way since he originally tried his hand at boxing "to get a bit fitter to break into my local GAA senior panel at Tullylish!" It's a poignant story, too, with the sport helping him "massively" after losing his beloved mum to cancer in 2018. He'll be forever grateful to his family, friends and head coach, Bernard McComiskey. What an incredible week we’ve had at our Summer Scheme! ☀️🎉

From exciting activities to an action-packed trip to Airtastic for trampolining and laser tag, there were plenty of laughs, memories made, and new friendships formed along the way. 💙
