We are so proud of the fantastic independent writing in Belamy Class!

After sharing the story Somebody Swallowed Stanley, we had some thoughtful discussions about the importance of looking after our environment, particularly by keeping our beaches free from litter. The story inspired us to think about how rubbish can affect our oceans and the animals that call them home.

In Glanvill class ( year 5) we have been using our wonderful school grounds to write tricky words and words with silent letters. In English we have been reading Cogheart by Peter Bunzl. We found some strange keys and torn bits of zeppelins in forest school. We will use this experience to inspire our writing.
