🌟🚜 What an Absolutely Incredible Day at Our Tractor Run & Fun Day! 🚜🌟
Wow – where do we even begin?!
Yesterday was nothing short of fantastic, and we are still smiling as we look back on what was a truly memorable day for our school community. The sunshine, the tractors, the laughter, the activities, the atmosphere – everything came together to create a day that will be remembered for a long time.
But above all else, we want to take a moment to say the biggest, most heartfelt THANK YOU to every single person who came along and supported us.
Whether you arrived with a tractor, brought your family for the day, bought a ticket, enjoyed the games, cheered on participants, donated, volunteered your time, or simply came along to be part of the fun – this event would not have been possible without you.
Every person who walked through the gate played a part in making the day the incredible success that it was. Your support means so much to our school. Community events like this only work when people get behind them, and yesterday you all did exactly that. Seeing so many families, friends, neighbours, past pupils, local businesses, and supporters come together was truly special. The atmosphere throughout the day was amazing, and that was entirely down to each and every one of you who took the time to come along and support our wonderful school.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Your generosity, encouragement, and community spirit were evident everywhere we looked, and we are incredibly grateful.
A huge thank you must also go to our outstanding PTA, whose hard work, dedication, planning, and commitment over many months helped make this event possible. So much work goes on behind the scenes that many people never get to see, and the PTA put in countless hours to ensure everything ran smoothly. We are so fortunate to have such a hardworking and passionate group supporting our school.
To all of the other volunteers who gave up their time before, during, and after the event – thank you. Whether you were setting up, directing traffic, helping with activities, tidying up, or lending a hand wherever needed, your efforts did not go unnoticed. Events of this scale simply cannot happen without volunteers, and we are incredibly appreciative of every single person who helped.
A special thank you goes to our wonderful teachers, who once again proved they are great sports by taking part in the ever-popular “Sponge the Teacher” event! The smiles, laughter, and excitement from the children (and perhaps some enthusiastic parents!) made it one of the highlights of the day. Thank you for joining in the fun and helping create such fantastic memories for everyone.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Gordon McConaghie for kindly allowing us to use his field. Your generosity and support were greatly appreciated and played a significant role in making the event possible.
A huge thank you to PS Engineering for generously sponsoring the Tractor Run. Your support helped make this fantastic part of the day a reality, and we are extremely grateful for your contribution.
Thank you also to Riada Tractors for sponsoring the Fun Day. Your support is greatly appreciated and helped ensure the day was such a success for everyone involved.
We would also like to acknowledge and thank Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council for their grant support towards the Fun Day. This funding played an important part in helping us provide such a fantastic event for our school and wider community.
Finally, as we reflect on the day, we return to the people who made it all worthwhile – you.
To every family, every child, every tractor owner, every supporter, every volunteer, every sponsor, and every visitor who came through the gates yesterday: thank you. Your support for our school means more than words can express. The turnout was phenomenal, the atmosphere was incredible, and the sense of community was something truly special to witness.
Days like yesterday remind us just how fortunate we are to be part of such a caring, supportive, and generous community. We are immensely proud of what was achieved and incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part.
