🌱 Gardening Club – Week One! 🌱

What a busy first week we’ve had! 🍅🌿

Our Harvesting Heroes were busy picking the tomatoes, our Plant Surgeons were giving the plants a much-needed tidy-up, and the Clean-Up Crew were hard at work tackling the weeds! 🌱💪

Everyone was busy getting stuck in and doing a fantastic job! 🥰🌻

P3/4 have got off to a flying start and are proving to be remarkably hard workers, demonstrating great numeracy skills right from the beginning of the term.

They have been busy counting and ordering numbers up to 100 and extending their confidence all the way to 1000!

The children are using key mathematical vocabulary—such as identifying numbers that come before, after, and between—to show a clear understanding of place value.

They are also mastering skip counting forward and back in 10s up to 100 and well beyond, building a strong foundation for all their upcoming math challenges 👏 🔢🌟

We are so excited to introduce our amazing school buddies! 💛

The children absolutely love spending time with their buddies and working together. It’s lovely to see them supporting one another, sharing ideas, learning together and, most importantly, having lots of fun! 🥰

We’re looking forward to spending lots more time together throughout the year, creating special memories and building wonderful friendships along the way. ✨

Our first day back in P3/4 was great fun! We all got settled into our new classroom and caught up with each other after the summer. 😀

We spent time learning our new routines so everyone knows what to expect, and we worked together as a team to create our classroom rules to keep our room a fun place to learn. 🏫

Best of all, we got to reconnect and have fun with our friends making it a great start to the new school year.
