At Loughgiel Childcare Centre, we accept:

💗 Tax-Free Childcare
💙 Northern Ireland Childcare Subsidy Scheme (NICSS) – 15% off your childcare bill
💚 Universal Credit – accepted for eligible families

These schemes can help with the cost of childcare, making it easier for families to work, train or study. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Wow, what a first week back! 🤩🎉

We have absolutely loved meeting all of our new children and spending their first week getting to know them. As you can see from some of our preschool photos, some of the boys and girls were VERY excited to begin their school journey! 🤣🤣🎒

In Afterschools, it has been fantastic to have everyone back and enjoying some of our new resources. We can’t wait for our Afterschools Clubs to start next week and to see what fun and exciting activities we get up to! 🎨⚽🧁🌱💻

📢 SCHOOL SAVERS RETURN! 📢

We’re delighted that the Loughgiel Credit Union School Savers Scheme is returning to Loughgiel Childcare Centre on Wednesday 9th September! 💚💰

Registration forms have been sent home with the children this week. If you would like your child to take part, simply complete the form and return it to us. 😊

Once registered, children can bring their weekly lodgement sheet and savings into the centre each Wednesday, and we’ll take care of the rest! 🌟

A fantastic way to encourage children to learn about saving and managing money from an early age. 💰💚

Our Afterschool Club will resume tomorrow, Tuesday 1st September! 😊

If you have registered your child for the club, they have been allocated their selected days.

📱 Please ensure you are connected to our Seesaw app, as this is where all communication regarding the Afterschool Club will take place.

📢 School Aged Childcare Registration – September 2026

IF YOUR CHILD ATTENDED US LAST YEAR, YOU STILL NEED TO REGISTER!!

If your child will be attending our School Aged Childcare at any stage during the year, please complete our registration form.

Even if you think you may only need childcare during school closures, holidays, or on an occasional basis, we would still appreciate you completing the form.

Having your details on file will help us plan ahead and ensure we have the necessary information should you require a place.
