🏫Thursday 27th August and Friday 28th August school will begin at 8.45am and finish at 12noon.
🥪 Please remember everyone needs to bring a snack as cooked break is not available until next week
🍞 Breakfast Club will resume 7th September

Parents and carers - as the new school term approaches, we are surrounded by talk of the “excitement” of new school bags, pencil cases and school shoes. But many of us know it is not that simple.

For some of our children, these things do not bring excitement. They bring fear and dread - not a few butterflies or a nervous tummy, but a chronic and debilitating fear that begins long before the first morning back.

Even knowing how and when to shop for the necessities can feel awful. I get that. How do you help your child prepare without bringing school into the last precious weeks of summer? How do you get ready without feeling as though you are “ruining” the summer?

I do not have an easy answer. But I do see you. I see the careful timing. The quiet calculations. The reassurance, the worry and the love behind it all.

If this season feels heavy in your home, you are not failing. Your child is not failing. And you are not alone.
