Last night I had the absolute pleasure of attending a celebration of a recent project we completed at Ballymena Gateway.

My role of club secretary is such an honour and to see individuals with a learning disability be celebrated and offered these opportunities is not just inspiring, but something we absolutely need more of. As an OT, I’m passionate about helping individuals with additional needs and it was so lovely being a part of this project, to then see it on the big screen and celebrate with other Network Partners of Mencap NI

What is Tummy Timers? My monthly, one-off masterclass that teaches you everything you need to know about helping your baby get a great head start in their development.

In the 1.5 hours, we cover:
🚼 Tummy time benefits
🚼 Tummy time positions
🚼 Impact of container usage (jumparoos/walkers) on baby
🚼 Co-regulation

Suitable for first, second, third (or more!!) time mums, dads or grannies; it covers all aspects of gross motor development as baby grows. All information is evidence based and led by me, a specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist 🌿

It’s a wonderful, relaxed environment where we chat through everything in an informal way. Groups are small which allows for great discussions 😊

Suitable for babies from birth to pre-crawling, it’s a lovely way to spend a Saturday morning💘

Exciting news!

After lots of thought, I have decided to bring both Let’s Talk Sensory and Tummy Timers under one umbrella ☂️ of Ashley Boal Paediatric OT. Lots of the information I share are applicable to both pages so I do hope it’s not a huge transition from what you’re used to seeing.

Name may be changing but the masterclasses and provisions are staying the same 😊

M a y 🌼 Masterclass 🎊

We had our sunny May masterclass yesterday in and it was an absolute treat 🫶🏻 5 amazing babies ranging from 6 weeks - 4.5 months and 5 brilliant mummies who learned lots about tummy time, container usage, developmental milestones and co-regulation. Lots of wonderful chats and lots of practicing tummy time positions ready for doing at home! 🏠

✨ April Masterclass ✨

What a gorgeous gorgeous morning we had in our new venue yesterday - the sun was shining and 6 amazing babies and their wonderful mummies came to learn alllllll about the benefits of tummy time ☀️ we had great discussions on the mats about containers, developmental milestones and the importance of co-regulation ✨ our youngest attendee was 4 weeks and what a gorgeous wee man he was! 🩷

Each mummy goes home with all information to make tummy time less of a chore and easier to implement into their day 🥳

We had our March Masterclass yesterday and it was absolutely wonderful. Five gorgeous babies came with mummies and daddies to learn alllll about tummy time and how we can easily implement it into our day ☀️ everyone left informed, enthusiastic (and shattered after a big core workout!)

A truly lovely morning and my last session in before moving to ✨ so thankful to Fiona for welcoming me so warmly to her gorgeous space!

From April we are switching it up with some tiny changes - a new space, some new content and bringing it back to what Tummy Timers was at the beginning - a chance for mummies to get together and get to know each other in a relaxed setting 🥰 I’m very excited for it and I hope you will join me 💕
