With the new academic year just around the corner it means that the inevitable workload, practice essays and exam prep will begin soon! I have spaces for tutoring over the next few months for those studying history. This can include exam content and exam technique. Or for those students who need a little extra help with revision I am also offering a ‘study skills’ session that will include revision techniques and time management for general subjects.

As great as the holidays are, we all know it marks the start of exam season! I am offering some tutoring slots for students who need a little extra help in getting ready for their History exams. Knowledge is key... or is it?? Most people believe that to pass exams the more content you know the more prepared you are. Kinda true but not really. Content and knowledge is only half the battle, the real battle is the structure of the question- how to actually write an answer. Remember the examiner does not want to see a list of facts, they want to see how you collate all the information into an informative paragraph that relates to the question. This is where the true marks are. It can be tricky to structure your answer and something that needs to be practiced. If you find this difficult and feel it’s something that needs worked on please get it touch and we can work through, content and exam technique to get you the grade you deserve 😊

Hello 👋 👋. With the excitement of Christmas past us, it’s now back to reality and that means exam season is upon us. Now is the time to iron out any concerns or confusion that you may have with your subjects so you aren’t panicking and stressing on the weeks leading up to the big exams. If you are struggling with getting on top of your history or english and want a relaxed environment to work through exam questions and strategy please get in contact.
