💙 A special new space for pupils at Clough Primary School.

An £8,500 donation is helping create a dedicated sensory room where children can reduce anxiety, regulate their emotions and feel ready to return to learning.

The school says the new facility will make a “significant difference” to many pupils.

On Thursday, we celebrated seven wonderful years with our fantastic Primary 7 pupils as they prepared to say goodbye to primary school.

The children enjoyed reflecting on their favourite memories, shared a special poem written about one another and received their Leavers Books, filled with treasured memories from their time at our school.

It was lovely to welcome families and friends to join us for a cup of tea, a scone and some delicious leavers’ cake as we marked this special milestone together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate. We are incredibly proud of our Primary 7 pupils and wish them every success and happiness as they begin the next exciting chapter of their journey.

🏆On Wednesday, we celebrated our annual Prize Day, recognising the hard work, dedication and achievements of our pupils throughout the year.

This year, we were delighted to introduce several new awards, including Literacy and Numeracy Awards for pupils in Years 3–7, celebrating excellence and progress in these key areas.

We also presented a very special new award in memory of a much-loved mummy from our school community. The Character & Influence Award, kindly donated by the Davidson family, recognises pupils who demonstrate kindness, integrity, compassion and a positive influence on those around them. We are incredibly grateful to the Davidson family for creating such a meaningful legacy.💕

As we come to the end of our time at Clough Primary School, we would like to express our sincere thanks for your kindness and generosity. We have been truly touched by the thoughtful gifts and good wishes we have received.

It has been a privilege to be part of the Clough PS family and we will always cherish the many wonderful memories we have made with the children, parents and staff. The support, friendship and encouragement shown to us over the years have meant so much.

Thank you once again for your generosity and for being such an important part of our journey. We leave with grateful hearts and many happy memories that we will treasure for years to come.

It was a very special day for our Nursery boys and girls as they graduated from Clough Nursery Unit. What a fantastic year they have had, filled with learning, laughter, and wonderful memories.

We also said goodbye to Gillian from Jo Jingles as she embarks on an exciting new adventure, and we wish her every success for the future.

Today was also a particularly emotional occasion as it marked Mrs Montgomery’s final graduation after 28 dedicated years at Clough. We thank her for her years of commitment, care, and support, and wish her a happy and well-deserved retirement. 💙🎓✨
