Today we were delighted to welcome Mary from the NSPCC to Dunloy Wraparound Club to deliver our safeguarding training. 😊

Alongside our staff team, we were joined by members of Dunloy Stronger Together Committee and Facilitators.

Safeguarding and child protection are at the heart of the work we do with children and young people. Training like this helps ensure everyone working within our setting is confident, knowledgeable and up to date with the correct procedures and best practice.

A big thank you to Mary for a really informative and worthwhile morning, and to everyone who took the time to attend. 💛

☀️ And that’s a wrap on Summer Scheme 2026! ☀️

It’s hard to cram everything we got up to over our five and a half weeks of Summer Scheme into one post! 🥰

From trips out and about, to lots and lots of crafts, baking, LEGO, dance & Drama workshops, Forest School, Karate, Pilates, games and so much more, you name it, we probably tried it this summer! 😂

We couldn’t be more grateful for all the fun we’ve had, the memories we’ve made and the experiences we got to share with all our brilliant children. 💛

Now for a very well-deserved week of rest before we’re back on Tuesday 1st September for our usual Afterschools and Playgroup.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this summer such a good one! See you all on the 1st! 🥰

💛 A Very Special Thank You 💛

We would like to say a massive thank you to one of the children who attends our setting and their wonderful family, The Mc Michaels recently held a fundraiser during the Armoy Road Races and very kindly chose Dunloy Wraparound Club as the charity they wanted to support 💕

We feel incredibly privileged and honoured that they chose to support us. 🥰

As a small community setting, donations like this mean so much. The money raised will be put to fantastic use, helping us purchase new resources and equipment for the children who attend our club.

Thank you so much for thinking of us and for giving something back to our setting. Your kindness and generosity are very much appreciated by all of us. ❤️

What a fantastic Week 3 of Summer Scheme! 🌿💚

The weather may not have been on our side this week ☔, but it certainly didn't stop the fun! From our Forest School🌳🌳 morning on Monday to baking delicious treats 🍫 board games, trip to the cinema 🎥musical statues 💃 hall games, walks between the showers, and LOTS of Loom Bands 🫣😂 and Pilates, there was never a dull moment.

It's amazing to see the children making new friendships, trying new activities, and having fun no matter what the weather brings. 🌦️

Here's to one another fantastic week of Summer Scheme! ☀️🎉

What a lovely morning we had at Origin Flowers , Finvoy for our Forest School experience! 🌿☔

The rain certainly didn't stop us! The children loved exploring the gardens, taking part in a scavenger hunt, and getting creative with nature crafts.

The perfect way to kick off another week of Summer Scheme! 💚🌳

Our Community Fun Day is just around the corner, and we're looking for some amazing volunteers to help make it a fantastic day for everyone! 💙

⏰ Could you spare just ONE HOUR of your time?

We're looking for volunteers to help with:
🏃‍♀️ Stewarding our 5K Fun Run/Walk
🏰 Supervising the bouncy castles
🍔 Helping with BBQ preparation and serving
🪑 Setting up before the event and helping tidy up afterwards

🕚 Volunteer Time Slots
✅ 11:00am – 12:00pm
✅ 12:00pm – 1:00pm
✅ 1:00pm – 2:00pm

Every hour volunteered helps the day run safely and smoothly, and allows us to raise as much as possible for Ciara's School in Tanzania. 🌍❤️

Whether you can give one hour or a few, we'd be incredibly grateful. Together, we can make a real difference!
