It was lovely to welcome everyone back to St John’s this week, and especially our wonderful new Primary One pupils who settled so well. We are delighted to have you all as part of our school community! 😊

A few reminders for next week:

🚫 School will be closed on Monday for the bank holiday.
⏰ School will finish at 2pm for all pupils in P2-P7 next week.
🥘 School menus where distributed to each pupil. All dinner and break payments to be made on Tuesday for the full week!

🌟 Welcome Back! 🌟

We hope everyone had a fantastic summer holiday and enjoyed some well deserved rest.

We’re looking forward to welcoming all our children from P1 to P7 back to school on Thursday 27th of August.

🕣 Doors open: 8:50am
🏫 School starts: 9am
🏠 School finishes: 11:30am on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th August.

We can’t wait to see everyone and get the new school year off to a great start!

Today, we celebrated the amazing achievements of our pupils at our Summer assembly!

Congratulations to all who took part in Sports Day, everyone showed fantastic sportsmanship and took part with enthusiasm!

We also celebrated our Accelerated readers who successfully read the most words within their class! Fantastic reading! 📚 🌟

Finally we recognised our pupils who achieved 100% attendance for the whole school year! 👏🏻 💯 ✨

This morning the boys and girls in P3 and P4 had their final visit to Rowandale to sing and dance with their new friends. Lovely memories have been made! Thank you to Anne McCambridge for making this happen, and thank you to the residents and staff who made the children feel so welcome!
