We made bird feeders and discussed birds and their sounds
And we had lots of fun playing in our parachute!

A beautiful sunny morning on the park with our forest babies!
Our new nature rangers had a lovely time playing, painting, dancing, making bird feeders, feeding the ducks, reading stories and most importantly we made new friends!!

People's park nature rangers had a fantastic morning in Carrickfergus
We enjoyed making Smores on our firepit, making bird feeders, magic mud, bubbles, digging for dinosaurs, building dens and playing lots of games under our parachute!

Our forest school is taking bookings for afterschools and babies sessions!

A lovely morning spent with our forest babies! Lots of new members!!
We enjoyed experimenting and making our own snow, adding natural materials to make winter scenes! We enjoyed arts and crafts, games in our parachute, singing and dancing and most importantly making new friends!

We also welcomed our youngest ever nature ranger who is only 6 days old! 😍

Just a little reminder to all of our Forest babies to wear layers and wrap up warm and bring your waterproofs for the morning and extra blankets!
The weather looks to be quite nice but best to always be prepared!

Some lovely little finds today in the woods!!

The Scarlet elf cup mushroom 🍄

Mystical and cheery, the scarlet elf cup grows on decaying sticks and branches in damp spots and beneath leaf litter on the woodland floor. Their bright pops of colour brighten up even the darkest winter day.

In folklore it is said that wood elves drink the morning due from the cups! 🧚‍♂️

And a little man in the willow tree!
