A Warm Welcome to Our Year 8 Pupils!

Over the last couple of days, we have been welcoming our new Year 8 pupils as they begin their Cullybackey College journey. We look forward to getting to know each of them and supporting them as they make new friends, discover new opportunities, and become valued members of our school community. At Cullybackey College, we took time to recognise the dedication and care of our amazing Learning Support Assistants. This week, we hosted a special celebration with their pupils to say a heartfelt thank you for the difference they make every single day.

Our LSAs go above and beyond to support, encourage, and inspire our students, and it was wonderful to see everyone come together to celebrate their hard work over the past year.

We are so proud to have such a committed and compassionate team at the heart of our school community — thank you for all that you do! 🌟

Congratulations to our incredibly talented Youth Lyric students on achieving a highly commendable Merit in their recent New Era Grade 5 Acting Examination. This accomplishment reflects not only their skill and dedication, but also their remarkable growth as performers. Their commitment, teamwork and passion for the craft have culminated in an impressive result and we are immensely proud of all they have achieved.

A special congratulations goes to John Blair, who was presented with the prestigious Lauren Finlay Memorial Cup in recognition of his exceptional contribution and outstanding achievements this year.

Well done to all our students for being outstanding ambassadors for Youth Lyric and Cullybackey College.

🎢 **WINNING HOUSE REWARD TRIP: EMERALD PARK!** 🎢

A massive congratulations to all the pupils from **Bann House** who enjoyed a spectacular day out at Emerald Park on Thursday as their well-deserved reward for winning this year's House Championship! 🏆

The sun was shining as our pupils braved the dizzying heights of the Cú Chulainn coaster, took on the brand-new Tír na nÓg rides, and explored the zoo. ☀️🐻

A huge shoutout must go to our pupils for their exemplary behavior throughout the day. You represented the school brilliantly, looked out for one another, and made the staff very proud to accompany you. 🌟
