Just a little reminder that our Annual General Meeting is tonight, Tuesday 1st September at 7.30pm at our setting. 😊

We’d really love to see as many of our parents/carers as possible. 🌈 We do need to reach the required quorum for the meeting to go ahead, so your attendance really does make a difference.

🚨 LESS THAN ONE WEEK TO GO! 🚨

📣 Calling all parents to our Annual General Meeting!

The AGM will take place on Tuesday 1st September at 7.30pm at the setting. 📅⏰

A short account of the 2025/26 year will be shared by Chairperson, Victoria McMoride, followed by a finance review. The following positions will then be elected:

✨ Chairperson
✨ Treasurer
✨ Secretary
✨ Fundraising Committee (minimum of 7)

As a registered charity with a constitution, we MUST hold an AGM. Without your attendance and support on the night, we are UNABLE to function.

If any parents or volunteers within the community are interested in holding an office bearer role, please contact Mrs Barbara. 😊

Applications for Free School Meals and Uniform Allowance should be submitted before Friday 31 July to guarantee your application is processed for the start of the new school year.

🚨 REMINDER – AGM TONIGHT! 🚨

📣 Calling all parents and supporters of Ballygowan Communuty Preschool and Playgroup!

🗓️ Our Annual General Meeting will take place tonight, Tuesday 16th June at 7.30pm at the preschool setting.

As a registered charity operating under a constitution, we are required to hold an AGM each year. Without sufficient attendance and support from our members, we are unable to continue to function effectively.

🏫 During the meeting, our Chairperson will provide a short review of the 2025/26 year, followed by a financial report. We will then hold elections for the following positions:

• Chairperson• Treasurer• Secretary• Fundraising Committee (minimum of 7 members)

🥰 We warmly encourage parents and members of the local community to get involved. If you are interested in any of the office bearer roles or would like to find out more, please speak to Mrs Barbara.

Your support is vital to the continued success of our preschool, and we would love to see as many people there as possible.

Applications are open for Free School Meals and Uniform Allowances for the 2026/27 academic year.

Important info for applying:
✔️ Add each child for whom you have parental responsibility and who will be attending full time at school or Regional/FE College to your application

✔️ If children are aged over 16 and you’re unsure whether they will return to school or change schools, add on the application the child’s name and the name of the school your child waiting for results is most likely to attend

✔️ Inform the Meals and Uniform Section by phone or in writing if this information changes. You can do this by emailing [email protected]

Your child’s funding will be delayed if you do not add them to your application before submitting.
