Opened in 2011 Primrose Hill is situated just outside Ballyclare in the beautiful country side setting. We are a family run organisation with a proven history in the childcare field. Primrose Hill boasts some of the most fantastic attributes, not only do we possess a massive playing area, we also have allotments where the children get to feed our hens, rabbits and guinea pigs amongst others. ocation offers secure, uninterrupted play areas whilst being easily accessible via the new A29 road. Offering childcare from children as young as 6 months, right through to after school, Primrose Hill is certainly somewhere to consider as a destination for your child :)

What a fantastic, sunshine-filled day in Snowdrops! ☀️🌼

The children have been full of smiles and energy, making the most of every moment. From building towers with blocks and creating their own soft play slide, to exploring our jungle messy tray and heading out on a big walk to visit the chickens 🐔there’s been adventure everywhere!

We’ve been busy singing nursery rhymes, musical instruments, dancing, and even playing hide and seek with our favourite toys. Indoors and out, the fun kept going with painting beautiful giraffes 🦒, tackling a soft play obstacle course, enjoying swings and slides, and diving into imaginative small world play.

The sunshine brought out so many happy faces today, and it’s safe to say Snowdrops has been filled with laughter, creativity, and joy from start to finish 💛

We love days like these!

What a lovely day our Snowdrops had! ❄️💛

We spent time outdoors in the garden 🌳, enjoying the fresh air while building our physical skills on the swings, ride on toys, walkers, and playing with balls 🚶‍♀️⚽️🛝. These activities help develop coordination, balance, and confidence in movement.

As a group, we explored our animal flashcards 🐄🐕, supporting language development and recognition skills, and sang our favourite nursery rhymes 🎶encouraging listening, memory, and communication.

Indoors, we got creative with gluing and sticking semi-circles for our shape of the month 🟣, helping us learn about shapes while strengthening fine motor skills. We also enjoyed sensory play, exploring different textures, and used cars, people figures, and a variety of blocks 👷‍♀️🚘 to build and imagine developing creativity, problem-solving, and social interaction.

A fun-filled day of learning through play! 🌟

What a wonderful time we’ve had at Bluebells! 🌼💛

We enjoyed lots of fun with our friends, playing musical chairs 🪑 and getting creative in our kitchen role play making delicious “soup” and “juice”! There was plenty of imagination with dressing up and small world play 🌍 with animals 🐎🐕🌳.

Our group time was full of smiles as we sang nursery rhymes, danced together, and settled down for a lovely story time 📖. We also had lots of active fun racing cars around the track, playing football ⚽, and zooming around outside on the ride-on cars. The playhouse and hopscotch were big hits too!

We got creative with our artwork, painting beautiful Easter eggs 🎨, colouring pictures, drawing on chalkboards, and making funny faces using Play-Doh.

We even went on a walk through the allotments, spotting flowers growing and visiting the chickens 🐓🌷 such a lovely experience!

A fun-filled time of learning, laughter, and friendship all around 💕

🌸 Spring Adventures with The Snowdrops 🌸

We enjoyed a lovely nature walk, exploring the beautiful spring flowers 🌻🌹 and taking in the fresh air. Back inside, the children settled down for some story time 📚 before getting active with a fun obstacle course using soft blocks 🏃🏼.

There was lots of creative and imaginative play throughout the day from building with blocks 👷🏼‍♀️ and designing car tracks 🚗, to painting colourful semi-circles using toothbrushes 🎨🪥. The animal farm was a big hit too 🐮!

During group time ⛅, we looked at flashcards and sang our favourite nursery rhymes 🎶💭. The children also built tall towers with mega blocks and used their imagination in the small world area with people figures and trucks 🚛🫂.

To finish the day, we had lots of fun in the garden practising walking, going on the slides and seesaws, and playing in the house 🛝🏃🏼🏠

What a busy and joyful day of learning and play! 💛
