EA have arranged a number of online sessions in May where parents/carers can meet with SEN Link Officers to discuss their child’s individual circumstances.

These online sessions are for parents and carers of children moving from Pre-school to P1, Year 7 to Year 8 and Senior High School/Dickson Plan transfer years with a Statement of Special Educational Needs who are currently awaiting confirmation of their school placement.

A limited number of sessions are available on these dates, however further sessions across all transfer age groups will be advertised over the coming months.

We were delighted to welcome Education Minister Paul Givan to our school yesterday.

Education Minister Paul Givan met with Ballyclare Nursery School Principal Mrs Emma Corry, Board of Governors reps and parents this week.

The Minister was given a tour of the nursery school and heard about the valuable impact their specialist provision class is having on the children.

Parentline Online Parent Workshop
Following the previous Bounce Back workshop being fully booked, we are delighted to confirm that additional dates have now been added. Bounce Back is a practical 3-week online programme designed to support parents in building calmer, more connected family relationships. The workshop will run across three consecutive Mondays, starting 9th March, from 7.00–8.30pm, delivered online via Zoom.Places can be booked by calling Parentline NI on 0808 8020 400.
