Met our founder Anna - “I began working in schools nearly 10 years ago. First, I supported children with Special Needs before I become a class teacher in Tower Hamlets. After many happy years there, I moved to become an Assistant Head Teacher in Barnet, with specific responsibility for running Arts across a Federation of schools. While the Arts have always been a passion of mine, I truly value a broad and diverse curriculum for children and I devised the Smart Break timetable with this in mind. A couple of years ago, I saw a gap in the market to create an education-based summer school to inspire children outside of a classroom setting. Smart Break is this realization, led entirely by qualified teachers and designed to fuel children’s imagination.”
