It's almost here! Show day is tomorrow! Have you packed your bag yet?🧑🏼‍🩰

Dance Bag
- water bottle
- non-messy snacks
- a fan ( the theatre gets waaaaarm!)
- extra hair stuff
- something to do e.g. a book/colouring (no valuables)

Clothing
Please arrive wearing:
Girls - tan tights under n**e leotard
Boys - n**e leotard and black shorts on top
and pack:
- ballet tights
- black or leggings or shorts for finale
- ballet, tap, jazz, pointe shoes (as appropriate)

Show tshirts can be collected and put on at registration

📸On Tuesday we had our costume fitting and photoshoot with all of our dancers, from our nursery ballerinas to our adult tappers!
⭐4.5hrs of costume changes, group, and individual photos on a very warm day but the dancers struck their best poses for our photographer and we can't wait to see the final images!

💜Something very exciting was delivered to DC HQ yesterday! Swipe for a first look at our show tshirts!!!! Beautiful artwork designed by senior pupil and class assistant, Miss Alexandra!
💚Just one of the ways we're keeping our dancers safe and secure, so everyone can be identified easily, including staff and teachers whose tshirts are named on the back so we are all easy to spot in the bustling theatre environment!

🎉It's May Day!☀️
Our grade 1&2 class have been learning the Maypole dance from the ballet 'La Fille Mal Gardee' for our upcoming show 'A Turn Around the Sun', and we can't wait for our audience to see it!

Ms Sarah & Miss Gemma are at our show venue today to talk to the tech team about lighting and sound! 1 month to go!!!! 🎉

Our dancers may have noticed a few faces missing from classes last night - that's because Ms Sarah was with Miss Emily, Miss Brooke, and pupils Hannah, Eliza, and Dottie at the Theatre Royal Glasgow as they (and Miss Lily!) performed in Go Dance 2026, a national dance festival, with SPB's Young Artist Development Programme!
Congratulations girls on a fantastic performance! 🌟

A big thank you to all the dancers who took time to say Happy Birthday 🎂 I absolutely love my daffodils, chocolate, homemade notes and cards! Junior dancer Dottie even brought homemade banana loaf with passion fruit icing which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone this evening!
