POP-UP SHOP NEWS

Did you know that the weekly Pop-Up Shop is celebrating its 1ST BIRTHDAY this week.

So we just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to all the pupils/parents/carers that have supported The Balfron Clothing Company

This week's shop (25th March) will be the last one of the term but it will be back after the Easter break on Wed 22nd April

The Pop Up Shop will be back this Wednesday lunchtime (18th March) in the school reception

We are desperately short of pre-loved blazers.

As it is getting close to the end of term and the S5 and S6 pupils are soon to be on study leave/moving up to being prefects we would really appreciate these pupils considering donating their old blazers (braided and unbraided) to the Pop Up Shop so we can help out other students.

Blazers can be handed into reception at any time.

Did you know that you can VOLUNTEER at Balfron High School?

The school are always looking for help with Prelim Invigilation, School Outings, in-school activities, helping in the library etc. This helps free up teachers to teach the pupils!

The key requirement is that an individual is PVG'd for the school.

The Parent Council can organise this for FREE!

Once a PVG is completed there is no obligation to volunteers but without the PVG there is no opportunity to help.

This week the 100th person has been PVG'd - would you like to join the list?

If so then please drop Jackie an e-mail to [email protected] and she will help you through the very simple process.

The next Parent Council Meeting is on Tuesday 17th March at 18.30

It is an "in person" one and will be held in the Strathendrick Suite on the top floor of Balfron High School.

Without donations of pre-loved blazers we are unable to help (Though we do have a stock of brand new blazers available under the Buy Back Scheme).

Please help us to help the pupils and donate any pre-loved blazers that you might have cluttering up a cupboard
