It all started in 1988 when Pippa joined the soon to be ‘Gloria’s Family’
I soon had children coming out of my ears and in 1995 decided to create the best thing ever, my happy place, Gloria's Day Nursery. I have enjoyed every single day with my children and have been blessed to work with some fantastic staff. Each of you have helped to make this the best job in the world.
After 35 years, 28 of those at nursery, I can honestly say this is the saddest day. There are so many memories within these walls from Miles being the first child to be carried through the door to Lewis welcoming me ‘home’ after a stressful day at Collage. The nursery has been full of laughter, games, tears, parties, smiles and poo . I wouldn’t change a single thing.

I’d like to thank each and every parent for allowing me to be part of their child’s life. Every child has a place in my heart where they will stay forever.
I’d also like to thank all my staff for their support and the fun times. More importantly than all of that, I’d like to thank each child. You have all made even the most difficult days the best with a simple hug, smile, kiss or funny face.

Now it’s time to hang up my painting apron, finish my puzzle, put my crayons down and tidy up the bricks for the last time and take a well deserved extended break.

Goodbye Never Never land and Hello adulthood.

We have done lots of lovely things this week for St Davids day. We also really enjoyed a messy tuff tray!

Today we have been washing dollies. The children really enjoyed using the soap and the powder. We talked about the importance of looking after and caring for babies.
All clean and fresh!

Jack Frost pictures! This week we are exploring some winter colours. The children have been exploring by colour mixing. We made grey paint for the clouds, used blue paint for the raindrops and white for the frost!
A little glitter to make them really icy!
