The children chose to come to school in their pjs/ confines today to have a comfy day which supports their mental health. A great way to end the half term!

Our Year 5/6 children have been commissioned by the local colliery to create some art pieces to support the collieries future renovation. The children have thoroughly enjoyed researching into the past and designing ideas for the future. Well done everyone ‘Coal to Community’

What a fantastic sports day today. The rain just held for us. Thank you for the fantastic turnout of families to support all the children in school. The children were all superstars! 🤩

We currently have no WiFi so cannot access emails or Seesaw messages. Flintshire CC are working on the problem and we hope to be back up and running soon.

We could not be prouder of our football team today. They won 3 out of 4 games in the group stages and went through to the knockouts. Comments were made on their outstanding sportsmanship and positive attitudes. It was a pleasure to be with the boys today and watch them encourage each other on and off the pitch. Well done boys 👏⚽️

Something special happened today in school. Sheena our chair of governors was presented with her British Empire Medal by the Kings Lord Lieutenant. Well done Sheena 👏
