We’ve had a fantastic time exploring a variety of activities!

Sand Play – The children enjoyed digging, scooping and filling. This supported Physical Development as they strengthened their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination

Loose Parts Obstacle Courses – Using our loose parts equipment, the children worked together to build their own obstacle courses. They explored balancing, climbing, jumping and moving in different ways, while developing their coordination, confidence and problem-solving skills.

Scooping & Pouring – Our water play provided lots of opportunities to practise scooping, pouring and transferring water between different containers. The children loved experimenting with how much water each container could hold!

Trains – We also enjoyed lots of train play. A wonderful opportunity for communication, turn-taking and imaginative play.

This week we enjoyed a lovely trip to our local park! The children had lots of fun exploring, playing together and enjoying the fresh air. 🛝

Our babies have been getting creative with our colourful carnival-themed tuff tray! 🎨✨ They loved exploring the bright powder paints, mixing the colours together and getting stuck into some messy sensory fun! 🖐️

Our toddlers have been getting creative making their very own colourful carnival bracelets!

They carefully scrunched up colourful tissue paper and stuck it onto their bracelet cut-outs, creating lots of bright and beautiful designs.

Today we took a little trip to the library to explore and find some books all about carnivals and festivals! The children loved looking through the books and discovering lots of colourful and exciting ideas.

We also took part in the Book Hunt – Read to the Beat Challenge. The library had hidden photographs around the library and the children had great fun searching high and low to find them all!

🎭🌈 Festival & Carnival Week has begun! 🎉💃

We’ve had a fantastic start to our colourful week! The children have been busy decorating their own carnival masks with lots of bright and beautiful decorations, including gems, feathers and pearls
They’ve also been getting creative and designing their very own carnival outfits – we’ve certainly got some fabulous outfits on show! 🎭

Out in the garden, we’ve enjoyed some fun carnival games too, including limbo and trying our hand at throwing balls into cups!

We’ve also enjoyed a colourful carnival-themed tuff tray filled with bright coloured rice, pasta and numbers. The children had lots of fun exploring, scooping, pouring and counting while developing their sensory and mathematical skills.

🏴‍☠️🌊 Pirates & Under the Sea Week! 🐚🧜‍♀️

Today our little pirates became treasure hunters! The children made their very own treasure maps and used tea bags to make them look old and authentic!
Then it was time for a treasure hunt in the garden! The children followed their maps and searched high and low to find the hidden treasure!
We also made messages in bottles! The children wrote their own special messages, rolled them up and popped them into bottles ready to send off on an underwater adventure! 🐠🐙
