Early Start - Claire Skinner B-Ed (Hons)32 years teaching experience. 1:1 tuition available Reception- Year 4 in person or online. I am DBS registered on the update service.

I'm Claire Skinner an experienced teacher currently working part time in school with Early Years and KS1. I will be supporting children with early intervention strategies to increase their confidence and help them reach their potential.

I’m sharing with you my latest review

Albie started his journey with Claire due to falling behind at school with his reading and writing. Due to this Albie lost a lot of his confidence not only academically but also out of school.
Claire supported Albie amazingly. She not only brought his confidence up through his reading and writing this also reflected on home life and we were able to get our Albie back.
Claire ensured the sessions were fun and personalised for Albie. (A lot being around fish, his favourite thing) Albie gained new skills which he transferred to school and his skills started to pick up.
Albie also has dyslexia, Claire was able to spend that one to one time ensuring that Albie understood the information and patience to ensure he did not feel under pressure.
Albie absolutely loved his nights with Claire and would be waiting until Mondays when he could go again.
Claire is absolutely brilliant, we couldn’t have asked for any better.
