We currently have a job vacancy available within our busy nursery.

Level 3 qualified nursery practitioner - we have an exciting opportunity to join our staff team. We are a large well established nursery caring for children age 0 to 5 years. This post is a permanent full time position working 8 hours per day Monday to Friday, 52 weeks a year covering a shift basis between 7:30am to 6pm with paid holiday entitlement of 25 days per year PLUS all bank holidays. A Full and relevant Level 3 or above is essential. Unfortunately, a level 3 qualification in health and social care can not be accepted.

We have an exciting opportunity for a senior room leader within a large well established nursery based within a children’s centre for children age 0 to 5 years. This post is a permanent full time position working 8 hours per day Monday to Friday, 52 weeks a year covering a shift basis between 7:30am to 6pm with paid holiday entitlement PLUS all bank holidays. Level 3 or above in a relevant early years childcare qualification with experience of working with children in the EYFS.
To lead, motivate and act as a positive role model to a staff team to provide good quality play provision for young children. To take on some managerial responsibilities and duties and have the confidence to liaise directly with parents and attend meetings with outside professionals.

From September 2025, 15 hours childcare for eligible working families will increase to 30 hours.

If you currently receive 15 hours as working parents, just reconfirm as usual and the code will work for the 30 hours offer in September, providing you remain eligible.

🌟FUNDED PLACES AVAILABLE🌟

Maden Early Years Nursery have places available in our pre school room.

From the term after your child’s third birthday, they can access funding up to 15 hours a week for 38 weeks of the year.

You may be able to get up to 30 hours of funded early education if you meet the eligibility criteria.

🚨ATTENTION WORKING PARENTS🚨

Maden Early Years Nursery have government funded places available

Eligible working parents are able to apply for 15 hours of government-funded childcare for children who are aged between 9-months and 23-months-old. This is for 38 weeks of the year but can be split across 52 weeks. It comes into effect the term AFTER the child turns 9 months old

When you apply, you’ll receive a code to give to your childcare provider. The deadline to apply by is 31 August so there’s still plenty of time for you to get your code to start a place in September.

Eligibility criteria for working families:

* You, and any partner living at your address, must expect to earn on average at least £183 per week (equivalent to 16hrs at National minimum wage)

* You, and any partner living at your address, must expect to earn less than £100,000 per year.
