🍎🥧 Ready for autumn apple pies in Buds! 🍂🤎

Our babies have been busy exploring our apple pie tuff tray, using oats, scoops and lots of little hands to investigate! 🥄🍏

Through sensory play, our little ones are exploring different textures, practising their scooping skills and discovering simple words as they play. From scoop and pour to more and apple, we’re learning through fun, hands-on experiences! 🧡

Little hands, big discoveries… and a sprinkle of autumn magic! 🍂✨

🚲💨 Buds are testing out our NEW wheels! 💨🚲

Thanks to our IDACI funding awarded by Suffolk County Council, we’ve been able to bag ourselves a brand-new set of wheels! 🎉💛

Keep your eyes peeled for us out and about around the village, as we get ready to give our children even more opportunities to explore and experience the wonderful world around us. 🌳🦆⛪️

We’ll be looking at the trees, the ducks, the church and, most importantly, the wonderful local people who make our village so special. 🥰

We can’t wait for all the adventures, conversations and learning opportunities these wheels are going to bring! 🚲🌿💛

Look out for Buds on tour! 👀🌼

🦺🔨 Buds Room have been exploring builders’ equipment! 👷‍♂️🚧

Our little builders have been busy getting hands-on and exploring a range of builders’ tools and equipment! From hard hats and high-vis jackets to measuring, fixing, lifting and constructing, there was plenty to investigate. 🛠️📏

The children loved pretending to be builders, using their imaginations and working together as they explored how different equipment is used. We had lots of fantastic conversations, new vocabulary and plenty of teamwork along the way! 💛

Who knows… we may have some future builders in the making! 👷‍♀️🏗️✨

☀️🏕️ Summer holiday excitement is in the air at Acorns! Our camping setup has been a huge hit as we get ready for the holidays.

We’ve been gathering around the campfire to share stories, toast marshmallows, and chat about all the amazing adventures everyone has been on or is looking forward to. From beach trips to family getaways and camping under the stars, it’s been wonderful hearing everyone’s holiday memories and plans.

Creating opportunities for imaginative play, storytelling, and shared experiences helps spark conversations, build confidence, and make lasting memories. Here’s to a summer full of adventure! 🌿🔥📚

🎉 We did it! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

Our final miles brought us all the way to Felixstowe, and what an incredible feeling it was to reach the finish! 💙

A total of 35 miles walked, plenty of laughs, determination, sore feet, and unforgettable memories along the way. Every step was worth it.

A huge well done to everyone who took part—you should all be so proud. Here’s to teamwork, perseverance, and achieving something amazing together! 👏✨

We had bean bag throwing, a cheeky 3-legged race, practitioner race, mums race and a dads (footage missed on this one!)

The weather has definitely tried to slow us down lately with the rain and the extreme heat… but we’re back at it! 💪🚶‍♀️☀️🌧️

A few more miles have been ticked off the list today, and we had a bit of everything in the mix – walking, running, and even a cartwheel! 🤸‍♀️ Every step brings us closer to our goal.

If you’d like to support our challenge and help raise funds for Bacton Under 5s, we’d be so grateful for your donation. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. ❤️
