🤍Our House Ambassadors have launched our new QMA Ready Learn Grow theme in assemblies.

Inspired by our pupils’ UNCRC Learner Charter and our school values and expectations, we’re looking forward to seeing our young people embrace the theme throughout the year.

This month at QMA, we’re shining a spotlight on EQUITY and LITERACY.

EQUITY “Consider All” Our Value of the Month
At QMA we are encouraging our young people to recognise that everyone is different and may need different support and opportunities to succeed. By considering others, understanding different needs and making sure everyone feels included, valued and supported, we can create a community where everyone can thrive.

LITERACY Our Skill of the Month
We’re also focusing on the importance of literacy across school life, from reading and writing to listening, talking, researching and using information. These skills help our young people communicate confidently, access learning and make sense of the world around them.

We are absolutely delighted to share that Sarah in S3 has been awarded her Saltire Award for her voluntary service at Ayr Gaiety, where she has dedicated her time over the past year supporting younger children through drama.

What a fantastic achievement and recognition of the time, commitment and kindness she gives to others. We are so proud of you, Sarah!

What a start they have made!
From finding their way around, meeting new people and getting stuck into secondary life, they have shown exactly what it means to be part of Team QMA.

Jacob in S2 proudly represented Scotland at the World Championships in Dundee, returning home a four-time World Champion!

Congratulations, Jacob! We’re incredibly proud of you.

Jacob will represent Scotland again at the 2027 World Championships in Johannesburg next July! What an experience that will be for Jacob!
