Dear Parents and Carers,

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who generously donated presents to our Barnardo’s Christmas appeal. It seems that everyone was particularly motivated by the good cause we are supporting this year and we are delighted to help to bring so many families gifts, warmth and food this Christmas.

Thanks to your kindness and support, an amazing 302 presents were donated! Your generosity truly reflects the strong sense of community we are so proud to be a part of at Doonvale, as well as showing all of our children the importance of giving back when we can.

We would also like to thank everyone who contributed to our cereal box collection. The children had great fun creating a cereal box domino line using the 92 boxes donated — you can see their wonderful efforts in the video attached. It was a lovely moment of excitement and teamwork for the children.

Thank you once again for making such a positive difference.

We are completely overwhelmed with the kindness shown yesterday. Our little Ella and her parents gifted 67 Easter Eggs to our collection for Crosshouse Children's Fund - all very kindly donated by the staff at Lochgreen House Hotel & Spa who heard of our Easter Appeal and wanted to help! We are so thankful for their generosity and huge hearts!! 🥰 . Thank you to all our wonderful families for their support and compassion. Our total has now reached 141! One more week to go!

Doonvale was delighted to partner with Rebekah from Crosshouse Children’s Fund to help make Christmas a little more special for children in hospital over the festive period. Doonvale staff and families donated a very generous total of 143 presents to the Charity. Our older children embraced this initiative, helping them to develop lifelong values such as kindness, empathy and taking care of others. 🎄🎁🥰
