Well it's a grate start to the season with lots of invites to some really good events mostly in and around Scotland which is one of our goals to promote living history in Scotland with a few events over the border. As living historians we all know that WW1 &WWII reenactment and living history is relatively new and never as big as it is over the border this why we try to support any events in Scotland in the hope that they will grow

Actively looking for new members membership is open to anyone interested in reenactment both Allied and Axes from the age of 16 upwards (as we say you are never to old )
Some times we car share so can help you get to events.

Well that's two more events under our belt 1st was Dumfries Aviation Museum airborne forcesDay. Seen a few members going to support David and his team. Otto with his 1st class WWII SAS display and Marek with his WWII Soviet display think he will get a T34 next. The rest of us did Crookston Castle as HG as requested this was a 1st for all and is a wee gem a really historic setting and a must for next year.

Some of our members will be displaying Dumfries & Galloway Aviation Museum next Saturday. Come and say hello.or if up in Glasgow at Crookston castle you can meet the rest of group

Its less than a week now until our Airborne Forces event on Saturday 30th August.
Airborne veterans very welcome. Come and see our Airborne Forces building dedicated to parachute and glider borne troops.
We will have kit demos and a number of reenactors and military vehicles.

Busy weekend for the team with two events attended: Saturday, we had members at Garlieston's Military Weekend at Sorbie Tower and also in Ballantrae. On Sunday, we had 7 members displaying at Sorbie Tower.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and supported the events — it was fantastic to meet and chat with so many of you!

Well what a fantastic day by some of our members who enjoyed their day on the sea front at Prestwick prom a 1st for our group USMC display big thanks to Simon and Otto Woolley your SAS display just gets better Dan was our sole home guard taken in the rays on his deckchair also special thanks to Dr Gareth Powell with his fantastic Burma forgotten army display August is a busy month for us as we have bookings for static displays with talks most Saturdays mostly in Nursing homes.
