Head along to the end of Summer Party at Lochside Community Centre today.

Lots happening including bouncy castles, giant inflatable darts and interactive story telling.

Good morning 🙋🏻‍♀️

Remember today is our end of Summer Festival/Party at Lochside Community Centre.

This is open to all children who attend Braehead, Cherry Tree, Newton or Wallacetown Nursery. Siblings are welcome to join and parents must stay 🥰

The session is all completely free of charge!

We have the bouncy castle, inflatable darts, giant board games all from 10am-2pm.

We have Emma from Once Upon A Story coming to run two interactive storytelling sessions. The first session will begin around 10.30.

We have a Face Painter coming from
11.30 - 2pm.

Glitter tattoos will be available throughout the session.

Snack will happen around 12pm today.

And we may have a couple of surprise visitors coming throughout the morning too 🚓👮

We will be in the Main Hall today but Louise or Charmaine will be out and about the front at points to direct anyone unsure where they are going!

Hey 👋 we are currently working on enhancing areas within the centre and our garden for our little cherry tree cherubs and are looking for some help to source the following….

Planks of wood , logs 🪵, loose parts such as curtain rings, corks, shells, large pebbles and sticks.

We would also be interested in any unusual kitchen utensils especially a pasta maker if you have one ☝️ 😬.

Slight change of plan to our Messy Play Event tomorrow.

It will stay the same time - 10am until 12pm - but it will now be in the Nursery garden at Braehead Primary School.

If anyone needs directions please get in touch with Louise or Charmaine.

Remember this event is open to children who attend Braehead, Cherry Tree, Newton and Wallacetown Early Years Centres.

Parents must stay with children, siblings are welcome and snack will be provided 😊

Just a little reminder that the first of our Summer Events start today!

Join us for some fun at Whitletts Vics this morning from 11am.

Remember this is FREE of charge and open to anyone who attends Braehead, Cherry Tree, Newton or Wallacetown Early Years Centres!

Parents are required to stay and siblings are welcome also🙂

We hope you have had a lovely start to your Summer holidays today despite the fact that in true Scottish fashion the rain has kindly made an appearance 🤣

We wanted to take a moment to share the wonderful video that our children who are off to school in August have put together (with just a little bit of help from Hannah 🤏)

The end of our Summer term is always bittersweet for us as practitioners in the nursery as it is always difficult to say goodbye to the children heading off to Primary 1.

Every day for sometimes 3 or 4 years your children have brought their own unique personalities, kindness and joy to our nursery and we feel incredibly privileged to have spent our days with them and watch them grow into the kind, smart and confident children they have become! We hope you have enjoyed being part of the Cherry Tree Family as much as we have and a special shout out to the parents and families for being so supportive over the years. We are incredibly lucky to have such a lovely community of children and families
To work with.

We know that you will all take Primary 1 in your stride and be absolutely amazing ✏️📚🍎! Good luck and remember to keep in touch 💕
