Summer Reading Challenge

We wanted to say sorry for the late post about our visit to St Michael's C of E VA Primary and Nursery School, Aylsham

A special shout-out to the Year 5 helpers who were trying out being the new Year 6s!

If you haven't joined the yet there's plenty of time. It takes just two minutes if you have a child membership account or ten minutes if you are signing up to a Norfolk Library and Information Service account for the first time.

This wonderful, free initiative has a free magazine this year and of course lots of stickers to collect. If you complete your 6️⃣ challenges ( you choose what these will be) you will receive a named certificate and a medal. Hooray - it's what Summer holidays were made for! 🏅📜

We said goodbye to our incredible Year 6 children as they reached the end of their primary school journey.

It has been a privilege to watch you grow into kind, confident and resilient young people, and we are so proud of everything you have achieved. You have made wonderful memories, formed lasting friendships and left your own special mark on our school.

Yesterday, we said a fond farewell to our wonderful Deputy Head, Mrs Phillips.

We enjoyed celebrating everything she has brought to our school community at a special tea party.

Mrs Phillips has made such a positive difference to the lives of so many children, families and colleagues during her time with us. Her kindness, dedication and unwavering commitment to our school will be greatly missed.

From everyone at the school, we would like to say a huge thank you for everything you have done. We wish you every happiness and success in your next adventure—you will always be part of our school family. 💙

☀️What a fantastic day at our Summer Fayre☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support our school and helped make the day such a wonderful success. It was fantastic to see so many families, friends and members of our local community enjoying all the fun, from games and activities to delicious refreshments and amazing stalls.

A special thank you goes to our incredible St Michael’s school PTA , staff, volunteers and everyone who donated prizes, gave up their time or helped behind the scenes. Events like this simply wouldn’t be possible without your generosity, hard work and enthusiasm.

Most importantly, thank you to our wonderful children, whose smiles, excitement and laughter made the day so special. We hope everyone had a brilliant time creating memories together.

We are so grateful for the continued support of our school community. Thank you for helping to make this year’s Summer Fayre one to remember! 🌞🎪🎉
