Adjacent to the magnificent National Trust estate at Felbrigg, but just 15 minutes from the beach with Blakeney Point and The Broads both within easy reach, we are ideally placed for your next residential visit.

2025 is looking like another busy year so we are looking for one more Kitchen/Domestic Assistant to join us here at Aylmerton. You'll be helping set up for, and serve, meals plus cleaning dorms and common areas after breakfast.

Experience not important. We just want friendly keen people with a positive attitude - the rest will follow.

Mornings approx. 7 am to 12 noon. Evenings approx. 5 to 7 pm. Various options available including fewer (or more) days per week or evenings only or term time only but MUST be available on Wednesdays and Fridays with approx. 10 weekend days during the year too. Just ask as we aim to be flexible!

The role involves working with children and is a Regulated Activity. Applicants will need an enhanced DBS and all barred lists checked.

Very sad to hear the news that Kingswood in West Runton is among the centres closing with immediate effect. To any schools who are now facing the disappointment of a cancelled residential, please do get in touch with us asap. We do have a couple of spaces left for 2025 and may be able to help.

We are looking for TWO apprentice outdoor education instructors to join our team.

No qualifications or experience required but you do need some special qualities as our team are truly fab and we need you to be truly fab too.

Don't worry - we can train you - but you need to love working outdoors, be genuinely interested in what we do, care that children and staff have a wonderful stay with us, have a positive attitude AND be friendly and fun and sensible and safe, all at the same time!

We are looking for someone to join our friendly domestic and catering team here at Aylmerton on either a permanent or seasonal basis.

Various options available including weekends only or term time only. Mornings approx. 7 am to 12 noon. Evenings either approx. 3 pm to 7 pm or 5 pm to 7.30 pm.

Age and experience are unimportant - as long as you are a cheerful, positive and reliable person, we can train you!

A huge thank you to our lovely lovely staff today. Some walked in through deep snow, some drove in despite the snow, and those who just couldn’t get in had made valiant efforts. But we had cooked breakfasts, and cleared paths, and freshly baked scones, and igloo building, and deer tracking, and hot chocolates, and storytelling and campfires in yurts. And we have owl games, and island hopping and other indoor fun to come before we venture back outside for more snow frolics with talent shows and film nights to come after tea. It’s not what we had on the itinerary today but according to a Snape Primary pupil this is “the best memory ever”. Huge credit to the fabulous staff and the enthusiastic pupils of both Snape Primary and Astley Primary Schools for beating the Beast from the East in such style. Team work makes the dream work!
