🌸 Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea 🌸

A huge thank you to all the Mums and Nans who joined us for our Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea. It was so lovely to spend the time together and celebrate you all. We hope you enjoyed the treats and special time with the children as much as we enjoyed putting it together!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Cobtree Manor Park this week. We were so lucky, the sun was out! 🌞

The children found the ladybirds hiding in the trees and counted their spots. 🐞 They joined us on the mat for a snack and some colouring before collecting sticks and playing on the play equipment.

We celebrated St. Patrick's Day this week with a couple of crafts, a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and a fun, handprint leprechaun. 🌈💰
At the tuff tray, the children used scoops and spoons to find the hidden coins amongst the green rice, and they used their fine motor skills to pass the Shamrocks using pegs. 🪙🍀

This week, we celebrated Holi Festival. The Hindu festival of colours, love, and spring. The children worked together to make a beautiful handprint rainbow which is now displayed in the room. 🌈
For craft this week, the children made fabulous flower wands. They chose their flowers, decorated them with sequins, and added some ribbon and a pipe cleaner. 🌸 I love how unique each one is. ❤️

We also spoke about how important it is to brush our teeth. The children used a pencil to make the teeth dirty and then used a toothbrush to scrub them until they were clean. 😁🦷🪥

😋 The children added fruit and chocolate sauce to their pancakes for snack time.

🥞 They decorated pancakes and had a go at flipping them.

🍓 For craft, the children made faces using different food items.

🥞 They playdough was ready to be rolled out and decorated.
