What a great term here at the pottery.
This term we had a throw down competition.
First project was to make 2 identical lidded pots.
The second to produce a traditional slipware piece.
They all look amazing and thank you for all of you that took part

Back on the casserole dishes today. We use a great clay from Valentine Clays superb for ovenware, microwave and dishwasher safe available from Aylesford Pottery & school of ceramics soon

Good to hunt around antique shops in Kent. Found an interesting book on pottery marks (we still use 175 today) as we inherited the stamp.
Loads of old pots from 1960s to early 1980s made by the fantastic potters from Portugal who ran the pottery over these years

First outing a bit of naked raku today. Hope you all pleased with the results? Think we will do that again. Happy days
