The BEST Club at BIS

There are still spaces available for next week’s Summer Fayre extravaganza!

The children will be helping to make the stalls and games early in the week with the fayre taking place on Thursday with a fantastic addition of a bouncy castle which is likely to be the main attraction!

There is extra capacity for places on the Thursday but spaces are likely to go fast so book quickly to avoid disappointment.

It’s been a busy start to the Music and Dance Festival week at The BEST Club. The children have been playing the guitar and the drums, performing their own outdoor shows and had a lovely time with Harmony doing a Katseye dance workshop. Some of the children have even had face paints!

The sporting week rounded off with some obstacle races for the children. They have had a wonderful week and shown promising sporting prowess.

Next week lead us into our Music and Dance Festival Week where there are only a few places remaining for our Katseye Dance Workshop, so make sure you book quickly via Parentmail to avoid disappointment!

We are nearing the end of our sporting week but the children have very much enjoyed each of the activities. They have made their own gymnasts and created their favourite sports from straws, paper and glue.

We will bring down the curtain on our Commonwealth Games themed week tomorrow with obstacle courses and a badminton tournament before we look forward to our music and dance theme next week!

It was a jam packed day at The BEST Club yesterday with the children learning lawn bowls, doing indoor obstacle courses and some of the children even put on their own half-time show with a concert kindly produced with the help of iRock! Medals were won and worn after all of the activities were complete.

Our Commonwealth Games themed week has left the starting blocks with the children starting to work on trophies to aim for during the week.

Dawn has also brought her expert hair braiding skills with her which the children love to have!

At The BEST Club we've got a really exciting Summer holiday club about to kick off and the fun really ramps up with our Commonwealth Games theme next week.

Many medals will be won throughout the games and the children will be making their own as part of the activities next week along with obstacle courses, team games of rounders and football as well as plenty of sports themed crafts!
