I’ve been approached by a university researcher looking for participants for her study on stress and BF outcomes… I have popped her email and post below in case anyone is interested in joining the study 😊
My name is Jennah and I am a post graduate researcher at Bournemouth University within the Centre for Midwifery and Women’s Health. My research focuses on dysphoric milk ejection reflex (D-MER), a breastfeeding condition that causes intense negative emotions before or during milk ejection (ethics approval ID: 69167). Lack of awareness of D-MER has resulted in misdiagnosis with postnatal depression, early breastfeeding cessation and lower maternal self-efficacy.
The study is open to participants across the UK and can be completed entirely from home.

These exam results are the gift that just keeps giving!
In less than a week after taking my exam I also interviewed to job share as the Team Infant Feeding Lead!
So in the space of a few months I am not only an IBCLC but also an Infant Feeding Lead.
Truly is the gift that just keeps on giving 🥰
I am so lucky to be surrounded by the most incredible, passionate team. I feel honoured to support you all in the NHS and keep pushing for better, informed care.

A huge thank you to and for making this amazing video available for all expecting parents as well as staff working in the NHS to support parents in making sure they get the correct fitting fl**ge when expressing their breastmilk.
It so important to size correctly in order to ensure not only comfort but milk yield.
