Respect | Aspiration | Resilience. Graded Ofsted ‘Good’, January 2019 The school forms part of the Aylesbury Vale Academy.
This means that, as they progress through the school, the children will be able to use the expertise of our secondary colleagues and the academy’s resources to enrich their learning and to provide additional challenge. The primary school is housed in a separate (neighbouring) campus: it has its own distinct identity and is led by its own headteacher and leadership team.

A fantastic group of enthusiastic GCSE geographers spent the day on 12th October 2022 in Black Park, Berkshire. They carried out fieldwork tasks within the woodland ecosystem, including transects and bipolar surveys, where they developed their skills which will be assessed in Paper 3 of their Geography GCSE. Students also took on the challenge of GoApe; a series of high ropes and zip wires through the forest. We were so proud of the resilience shown by all the students and hope they have all gained fun memories (and geographical skills) from the day

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR RESULTS YEAR 11
We are extremely proud of all of our Year 11s. They have endured a significant amount of disruption to their learning and lives over the past two years.
These students have performed extremely well against the odds and there were some outstanding individual results with almost all of our students coming into school to collect their results in person and being confident enough to be interviewed by journalists.
Some departments performed extremely well too with Spanish, Religious Studies, Drama, Music, Business Studies, Engineering and Fine Art leading the way. Our staff have worked extremely hard alongside our students and we wish them all well as they move on to the next stage in their lives.
Congratulations.
Aylesbury Vale Academy is excited and proud to present Matilda Junior the musical, on the 6th 7th and 8th July in our main hall. The musical will also feature students from the Primary Phase, who have been an absolute delight to work with.
Packed with high-energy and catchy songs, children and adults alike will be thrilled and delighted by the story of the special little girl with an extraordinary imagination.
Tickets for our production of Matilda are now on sale and are available from the Academy reception at a cost of £4 per ticket. Tickets will also be available on the door.
The performance will start promptly at 7pm on all 3 evenings and we look forward to seeing you there to enjoy and support our amazing students.
