Our summer fun day,
We enjoyed our own ice cream role play , sensory rice - beach theme, footprints in the sand pictures and best of all ice cream, sauce and sprinkles!
A lovely thank you from The Queen, to all the children for making jubilee cards and celebrating her special day.

Good luck to all those finding out about their school places today. I hope you get the school you want.
What a lovely way to start the Easter holiday. Yesterday we started off with lots of beautiful artwork making butterflies and peacocks out of paper and today was a lovely visit to the farm where we got to see baby lambs, goats and chicks. 2 of the chicks we saw had only just hatched and still had their shells on. We were also treated to a lovely show by Mary Poppins!!
We have squeezed so many Easter and spring activities into the last few weeks. Lots of sensory activities for our younger children, lots and lots of arts and crafts, Easter egg hunts, Easter parties. We have enjoyed lots of dressing up and experimenting with different hats, gloves and glasses.... we have found heels are hard to walk in!!
Happy Mothers day to all you mummy's. Your doing an amazing job x
What a lovely month we have had celebrating Valentines day. Lots of different types of crafts, stories about love and being kind to others and the meaning of love and how to care for others.
Chinese new year was planned but due to covid that didnt happen.😪
However we have also managed to squeeze in a visit to the farm, playgroups and meeting our friends.
The children are also learning to recognise their names, learning about the days of the week and recognising the weather, testing our number skills by recognition, counting and subtizing and starting to recognise letters around us.
Happy half term x
What a lovely start to our topic this month.... winter.
We have investigated ice. How ice is made, how it melts and the life cycle of a drop of snow.
The children have been fascinated in how the ice melts and hoe much quicker it melts when heat is added, how hard and slippery it is to hold.
We have enjoyed lots of stories about snow, ice, and the cold weather.
We managed to get a cold trip to the farm where we got to see some reindeers....
Wow what a month we have had.
We have squeezed so much Christmas fun into only a few weeks.
We have enjoyed Christmas parties, Christmas lunches, seeing beautiful decorations and sparkly lights.
We have explored lots of different types of crafts, using different techniques, textures and materials.
The children made beautiful gifts for their families, reindeer food for the reindeer's and yummy gingerbread.
I wish you all a very Happy Christmas, keep safe and we will be back next year.

Thank you to all the families that took part in collecting items from your walks, in our nature bags they were beautiful, we will explore them and investigate them together.
Didn't get to partake in our Halloween celebrations, but maybe we can squeeze some in on our return.......
We have been doing lots with numbers this month......
We have had a lovely month with our topic all about me.
We have explored oral health, expressions, emotions and our facial expressions.
The children have been amazing and given everything to every activity, brilliant listening and joining in.

Wow what a term!!
We have covered so many lovely topics this year.
The last month we have had 'Summer fun' with the paddling pool out, ice cream day, loads of sand play, popping bubbles, summer parties and so much more.
Thank you for making it a lovely term, being wonderful children.
You all grew some amazing sunflowers and should be very proud of how tall they are, caring and watering them every day.
We say goodbye to a special lady as i will no longer be collecting from school. You have been amazing and honoured to be part of your early years.
We also welcomed our 2 new recruits, strawberry and Robin..... you have cared for them so well.
Thank you for all of my end of term gifts. I feel truly spoilt.
