We couldn’t be prouder of this amazing group of young people.

Every week we see friendships growing, confidence building and a genuine love of learning developing. Through learning through play, sensory circuits, interest-led activities and trusted relationships, our young people are discovering that education can feel safe, enjoyable and achievable.

When children are given the right environment, the right support and the time they need, incredible things happen. Engagement increases, wellbeing improves and curiosity starts to flourish.

At Strive, we believe that when a young person feels they belong, learning naturally follows.

This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re reminded that for many young people with SEND, feeling safe, understood, accepted and able to belong can make all the difference.

Many of the students we work with are navigating anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, low confidence, sensory needs, trauma or feeling misunderstood.

At Strive, we know progress doesn’t always look the same for every young person- sometimes it’s attending when things feel hard, joining in, building trust, regulating emotions, trying something new or simply having a good day.

We’re proud to create spaces where students can be themselves, feel supported and continue to grow at their own pace 💚

What haven’t we been up to since returning after Easter!

We are so incredibly proud of all our young people and everything they are achieving. From Urban Art, Football and Horticulture, to Cooking, Tutoring and passing Functional Skills exams — it has been amazing to see so much confidence, progress and engagement across the provision. 🌱⚽🎨🍳📚

We have also welcomed new staff and students into the Strive family, all of whom have settled in so incredibly well and already feel like such an important part of our community.

Seeing our young people grow in confidence, build trusted relationships and friendships, discover new interests and experience success is exactly what Strive is all about.

Right now, we honestly couldn’t be prouder. 💚

Just a quick reminder we’re closed for the bank holiday on Monday 4th May- we’ll see students back as normal on Tuesday 😊
