What a fantastic start to the week! KS1 had a wonderful morning seeing some amazing owls up close🦉 thank you Sue for bringing us the owls and for telling us so much information about them! This experience will certainly support the children’s learning and writing this week 🦉 🌳 Ask your children to tell you 1 amazing fact they found out!

💛 Happy National Teaching Assistants’ Day! 💛

Today is all about celebrating our wonderful Teaching Assistants and saying a huge THANK YOU for everything they do.

Their patience, kindness, dedication and hard work make such a difference to our children every single day. Whether they’re supporting learning, offering a listening ear, helping a child through a difficult moment, encouraging someone who needs that extra bit of confidence, or simply being there when needed — they make a difference.

So much of what they do happens quietly behind the scenes, but it is noticed, valued and hugely appreciated.

They are an incredibly important part of our Ashmead family, and we are so lucky to have them all.❤️

They really are amazing! 🌟

Our Year 5 pupils are delighted to be taking part in the Intergenerational JOY Project this year. This project provides a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to spend time with people from different generations, sharing experiences, learning from one another and, most importantly, having fun.
