Our team is growing again.

More young people are being referred to our Alternative Provision programmes across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Reading. We are looking for caring, confident professionals to join us and keep that provision consistent.

This is 1:1 and small group work with young people who need something different from a mainstream classroom. Outdoors, in workshops, out in the community, whatever helps that learner re-engage.

Progress is often slow and quiet, and then one day a young person surprises everyone, including themselves.

If that sounds like work worth doing, get in touch: [email protected] or 01296 336644

Working with colleagues in AP today to shape the future for young people.

Not all education happens in classrooms.

We are looking for caring, consistent people to join our Reimagine Programme supporting young people through 1:1 and small group learning within their community.

This role may suit people from:
🌲 Outdoor education
🔥 Bushcraft
🛶 Adventure/outdoor activities
⚽ Sports coaching
🔨 Trades & practical industries
👣 Youth work & mentoring

You do not need to be a qualified teacher.

What matters most is that you:
✔ Build strong relationships
✔ Stay calm during challenges
✔ Genuinely care about young people
✔ Don’t give up on them when things get tough

Our work takes place out in the community not in conventional classrooms. Every day looks different.

We are recruiting across Buckinghamshire and would love to speak to people interested in finding out more about our approach to alternative education.

Flexible term-time roles available. £160-180 per day

Drop us an email with your details to [email protected] to arrange an informal conversation.

Live GPS Tracking for Surrey Search and Rescue 100 mile challenge by School of Outdoors

26/03/2026

We are super proud to be supporting this weekend’s stretcher carry fundraiser by Surrey Search & Rescue.

Providing an up to date view of where the team are courtesy of our online tracking software, and getting hands on for some of the team helping carry the load.

Good luck 👌🏻

It’s the final countdown! Bags are packed, boots are polished (ish!). It's our biggest fundraising event!

Tomorrow our volunteers start their journey with Big Ted travelling 100 miles across Surrey within 48 hours.

All logistics have been finalised. The team are resting and preparing. This time tomorrow, boots will be on the ground and we will be going.

Theres still time to vote on our last two challenges, donate to our cause, share our message with friends and family, or even follow along to enjoy this adventure with us.

We look forward to sharing our journey and checking back in tomorrow.

Thank you
