Proud members of the Quainton Red Rockets football team modelling our fantastic new football kit. The kit will get it's first outing on Friday, as we look to continue our 100% record this season versus Brill away.

We are hoping the new kit and other Quainton Red Rocket merchandise will be available to purchase online very soon - just in time for Christmas!

Well done Quainton Red Rockets. 4-1 victory vs North Marston in the first round of the cup. Next up Green Ridge in the second round. Well done Mr Tyler and all the team.

As a result of our most recent Ofsted inspection on 26th and 27th September 2023, we have been officially graded as a ‘Good’ school in all areas of inspection. This is an ‘upgrade’ from our previous Requires Improvement inspection grading in 2019. I am immensely proud of this result. It is validation of all the hard work, effort and time that we have put into improving the school over the last four years.

I want to thank everyone, past and present, who have contributed to this achievement. The wonderful teachers, support staff and all other staff who have all played a part in improving the school; the children who truly ‘let their lights shine,’ everyday; the governors who give up their spare time to drive the school forward and of course you the parents for your continued patience and support. It is by working together that we have been able to achieve so much for the school.

I also want to reassure you that we will not be resting on our laurels. Yes, this is a time to celebrate our achievements but it should not be the limit to our ambitions for Quainton School. We are already looking forward to what we can further improve, not just to sustain but to provide the children, parents and the community with a school that we can all be proud of for many years to come.

Dear Parents, Please note that PE days for this term are as follows.

PE Days
Monday - Year 2
Tuesday - Year 4
Wednesday - Year 5
Thursday - Year 1 and 3
Friday - Year 6

Children should come to school dressed in their PE kit. School house tee shirt (with or without school logo). Must be correct colour (Blue: Brett. Cautley: red, Klee: yellow)
Black PE shorts, training shoes with laces or Velcro fastening.
Red or black sweatshirt or tracksuit or rugby shirt for outdoor PE (extra layers in case of colder weather.)

URGENT QUAINTON SCHOOL CLOSURE TUESDAY 20TH DECEMBER

This evening I have been informed by Thames Water and Bucks County Council that we are to close the school for all pupils tomorrow - Tuesday 20th December.

2 underground reservoirs in Ashendon that serve the local area have sprung leaks. One reservoir has already completely drained and the other will be fully drained by tomorrow morning. Therefore there will be no water supply tomorrow in school. Other local schools have been advised to close too.

I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but I am sure you understand.

Suffice to say the school holidays will start a day earlier than expected and sadly the Church service will not take place.
