π π¦ Our roarsome week π¦ππ
This week has been a walk on the wild side! The children sang down in the jungle and recognised animal patterns this week. They have also discovered what different habitats animals live in.πΎ
The children also showed a keen interest in our bubble tuff tray - they learnt how to make bubbles and enjoyed popping them after π«§

The sun βοΈ has come out to play and so have we! Nothing better on days like today than fun with water π¦ (except maybe ice cream π¨)
As we approach half way through May we have certainly been reaping the benefits of our Outside play ethos, with some brighter and warmer weather making our outdoor spaces, mud kitchens, forest school areas, allotments, football pitches and nature walks across our settings come alive. π¦ππππ Mini beasts πππππ¦
Our children have enjoyed looking at mini beasts this week. From exciting tuff trays to understand lifecycles, to creep crawly crafts and some tasty stories to engage their interests.
Itβs that time of year after we return from Easter and many families are thinking about whether a pre-school or school nursery setting will be best. We want to reassure all our families that whatever choice you make is absolutely the right one for you. πΏπ· Planting and growing π·πΏ
We have loved looking at everything involved in planting and growing. We have planted sunflower seeds and cress in pots to take home and watch grow π». In our garden we have planted some flowers which the children have enjoyed helping to water π¦ We canβt wait to see the excitement as we look forward to planting some vegetables next! π₯

We had a very busy first week back!
We've used playdough to make different creations such as cake π candles π―οΈ flowers π butterflies π¦ and pizza π . We've also enjoyed fishing π£ in our sea life tuff tray and counted how many we caught.
We talked about our Rainbow π rules for example; kind hands, no running inside and sharing toys. We made rainbows to extend our colour work using a range of different sensory resources.
Some children were learning how to write their name βπ½ , build on a construction site ποΈ and become locksmiths π using a range of different keys to enhance their mathematical skills by size ordering and counting them.

We've had an eggcellent week celebrating easter! The children have explored a range of sensory, maths and mark making tuff trays, created some cracking pieces of artwork and even had an easter egg hunt. π π₯ π«
