🏊 Visit from a swim teacher 🏊

Water safety is so important - especially in this warmer weather. ⚠️

We had Debbie the swimming teacher visit us for our theme, people who help us. Debbie read the children a story about water safety. 2 of our children re-enacted how to save someone in the water. 💦

Always remember:

Stop & think, stay together, call 999 and float like a starfish.

🐅 🐊 🦁 Our roarsome week 🦁🐊🐅

This week has been a walk on the wild side! The children sang down in the jungle and recognised animal patterns this week. They have also discovered what different habitats animals live in.🐾

The children also showed a keen interest in our bubble tuff tray - they learnt how to make bubbles and enjoyed popping them after 🫧

As we approach half way through May we have certainly been reaping the benefits of our Outside play ethos, with some brighter and warmer weather making our outdoor spaces, mud kitchens, forest school areas, allotments, football pitches and nature walks across our settings come alive. There are so many ways to explore the world around us. Why not share in our in our latest news article

Our children have enjoyed looking at mini beasts this week. From exciting tuff trays to understand lifecycles, to creep crawly crafts and some tasty stories to engage their interests.

It’s that time of year after we return from Easter and many families are thinking about whether a pre-school or school nursery setting will be best. We want to reassure all our families that whatever choice you make is absolutely the right one for you. Our teams are often asked about the benefits of staying on at pre-school so we thought we would share our in case they help you too!

🌿🌷 Planting and growing 🌷🌿

We have loved looking at everything involved in planting and growing. We have planted sunflower seeds and cress in pots to take home and watch grow 🌻. In our garden we have planted some flowers which the children have enjoyed helping to water 💦 We can’t wait to see the excitement as we look forward to planting some vegetables next! 🥕
